About Base Calamès
Base Calamès is owned and run by Jon and Deborah. With a background in hospitality, Deborah as a Hotel Manager and Jon an experienced chef, your stay is sure to be a comfortable one, with great food on offer. As keen climbers, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, we can point you in the right direction to help you make the most of your stay.
When setting up the accommodation, a major aim was to find a location that is within easy reach of popular activities whilst remaining readily accessible by road and public transport. With superb walking, climbing, cycling and plenty more besides right on the doorstep , and being just 5 minutes drive from the town of Tarascon-sur-Ariège we think we have struck a good balance.
We aim to be as flexible as possible to accommodate our guest's requirements and can offer bed and breakfast on a twin, double or single room basis, as well a full house rental and discounts for groups and extended stays. Evening meals and lunches are available on request and with two kids of our own we have plenty of toys, games and idea's for families.
